A very happy and a prosperous 2010. 2009 has come to an end and its time to leave all your worries and problems of 2009 behind and carry your happiness to the new year. May this year be the best of the years and bring unlimited joys. May your efforts in 2009 inspire you to do better in 2010.

Most of us make many resolutions every year, most of them not even executed for a day. Like promises, resolutions are also meant to be broken. Some of them are really funny, some serious, some useful, some foolish. Share your resolutions here, it does not matter what they are.

Cauvery, Chennapatna, Kanva reservoir and Muthathi

Trip to Cauvery and Muthathi is another venture of the PIRT. It was a one day trip and Raghavendra, Srikanth, Naveen, Shuaib, Arvind, Ram Charan and Reagan (From left to right in pic) all came together for this.

The Pirtans planned for a 2 day trip. The planning went on for more than a week. So many calls, messages, mails and conference calls were made for the "Saturday-Sunday" trip. Even on Friday night we were not able to decide on the destination, mode of transport and the people who are coming. It was so funny. We simply could not decide in spite the talks and chats . We would agree on something and after a day it would get scrapped. Then on Saturday we decided that we will "just go" somewhere and decide about the destination. That was am awesome idea. On Saturday we called and asked Reagan and Shuaib to get their cars and both agreed, so one problem was solved. By saturday night 7 of us had confirmed.

So, on the dawn of Sunday we just left......

We did not know where to but just took a direction and we hit the highway. On our way we took few detours and explored the roads and you can see what we came up with. We saw some amazing landscapes and empty places which we had for ourselves.

Kanva Reservoir (above) was one of the places that we visited. The weather there was amazing and the when we were on the reservoir we could see the horizon (below) as there were no buildings and we could see the rains in the distant. Slowly the passing clouds came over us and we all had to run for shelter.

The reason we had a get together was to decide and plan for a 2 day trip. Select the place, transport, the dates and the people who are coming. We had so much fun that we totally forgot about the motive of the trip and did not plan about the trip until we stopped by to have tea on our way back.

It was not the best season to visit the Cauvery/Kaveri but she was as elegant as always. Though this trip was not planned it was far better than all of our planned trips. Only when you plan you know what is right. So, nothing went wrong and we just drove randomly and enjoyed the freedom. This was actually a "Pre-trip Planning session": A trip to plan about a trip.

These are two unique feature of this trip and that is the speciality of PIRT, no planning but effective execution.

Its good to have friends, its great to have good friends, its greater to have so many good friends and its greatest to have so many good friends for 7 years.

Celebrating 10th post

PIRT's first milestone.

PIRT Blog was started on the 11th of November 2009 and within a week it had 11 followers. There has been 5 posts each in November and December. We are sure to have had at least 100 hits before the 30 nov 2009. On 30th November, The blog was registered in Google Analytics to get vital information about the site.

Go Karting

One of the outings after PIRT was formed; Go Karting at Patel's Inn in RT Nagar. Ramu and Arvind planned to meet and they had to make a choice between Go Karting and Bowling. Soon the word spread to all Pirtans and all decided to go for Karting.

After the races, we all had lunch together and had fun there too. Later we went to Narasima's house and there Narashima was treating us like guests and giving us a lot to eat and drink but we were all full by then. We hung there for some while and then left.

Shankar leaves to Denmark

Shankar Naidu AKA Auto Shankar, one of our Pirtans is leaving to Denmark today the 11th of December for his onsite project. This is not just another step into his career but a big leap.

Let us all take this opportunity to wish our pal a Bon Voyage. Hope this journey brings him a lot of happiness and enrich Shankar with a wealth of experiences. Hope Shankar has a great time in Germany. May he be successful in all his endeavours and step into a brighter future. May his venture be a fruitful one.

Lets also wish Shankar for his well being in the alien land. Hope he never goes through any kind of racial abuse and is well welcomed by the people of Denmark. May his travel be a safe one. May the Air hostesses be good looking.

Everyone, lets send Shankar to Denmark along with our wishes.

Sarfraz Ehasan's Reception

PIRT is sorry to tell you that one of our dear friend got married yesterday and has lost all his liberty, God bless Sarfraz.

Sarfraz was not able to invite all in time for his wedding (5th dec 2009), however he is inviting all for his reception which is to be held on the 12th of December in Kolkata. PIRT is taking this opportunity to invite all to his reception.

All are requested to make plans and liaise with each other.
